On September 11, Yann Arthus-Bertrand had the honour of presenting the film Planet Ocean to United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, at the UN headquarters in New York. It provided an opportunity for Yann Arthus-Bertrand and the GoodPlanet Foundation to draw attention to the beauty of the oceans, the issues concerning them and to urge that every effort be made to preserve them.
Produced from aerial and underwater shooting, the film highlights mankind’s tenuous link with nature, and the need to respect and protect our planet. It will be available to be downloaded and viewed from the first half of 2014.
