This summer, while the people on holidays converge to the coast, there are 6.5 billion kilos of plastic waste flowing into the ocean at a rate of 206 kilos per second due to the high concentration of population. By limiting our consumption of packaging and recycling our waste, however, each of us contributes to reducing this insidious pollution.

It is this type of awareness that GoodPlanet Foundation wants to share through the Planet Ocean exhibition tour even in the largest urban centers. Thus, the exhibition just opened its doors in the city of Berlin, along with the team GoodPlanet and pop singer Andreas Bourani. Until August 16, Berliners and tourists will have the opportunity to walk to KaDeWe (department store Kaufhaus des Westens) among photographs by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and discover the incredible wealth of the ocean from the sky.

The exhibition concludes a period of great activity for the GoodPlanet Foundation and its partner Omega that both especially just offered to Internet users the movie Planet Ocean on YouTube and launched an application enabling consumers to identify the most sustainable seafood products during their purchases, so that together, we take better care of our « Planet Ocean« .
