The building of a second bioclimatic school in southern Morocco, in Oulad Merzoug, for 120 children, is nearly complete. The four classrooms are finished and are already in use, much to the delight of the children and teachers. The workers are currently painting the IT room and building the covered playground. The official opening is scheduled for March 2014.

In December 2013, while travelling in the region, the GoodPlanet Foundation team had chosen the spot to set up a new bioclimatic kindergarten in the Agadir region, for 40 children aged from 3 to 6. The adobe (mud brick) building work is set to start in Aknaibich douar (tent village) in spring 2014, under the supervision of two specialist mud brick architects.
