Over the last 40 years, I have seen the face of the Earth change. My travels and encounters awakened a desire to build a place dedicated to humanity and ecology. That is how the GoodPlanet Foundation came to take up residence at the Domaine de Longchamp in Paris. We have created a “green bubble” where visitors can experience a generous and positive form of ecology free of charge with their family and friends, where parents and children alike are all welcome. VISIT THE GOODPLANET FOUNDATION
Open from Wednesday to Sunday, just 10 minutes from Porte Maillot at the heart of the Bois de Boulogne woods, the GoodPlanet Foundation offers visitors free access to the Domaine de Longchamp – an experimental site based on ecological works, encounters and sharing – so that everyone can experience a generous ecological approach that places solidarity at its core.
The Longchamp château, an imposing 19th century construction, houses two floors of exclusive exhibitions. The Domain is set on 3.5 hectares of unspoilt nature, with a photo exhibition and various works of art spread along an original nature trail in Paris. “La Clairière” in the centre of the park is a haven of greenery at the heart of the woods where local organic foods are sold every weekend, along with open-air games for all the family, concerts, and famous figures and environmentally responsible associations who come to exchange.
WEEKENDS AT THE GOODPLANET FOUNDATION
Every weekend, the GoodPlanet Foundation organises two themed days on environmental, social, and solidarity issues in addition to the permanent exhibitions. From organic food to nuclear power, freedom of the press and refugees, honey collection to ethical fashion, all of today’s subjects are put under the spotlight at the Domaine de Longchamp, from the most interactive to the most critical.
FOOD AND DRINK AT THE DOMAINE DE LONGCHAMP
Our friends at Coup d’Jus are here every weekend with their solar-powered truck and their high spirits to treat you to freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices, seasonal sandwiches and pastries. All 100% organic, 100% fresh and 100% delicious!
FOOD SERVICE SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS FROM MIDDAY TO 3:30PM
DRINKS AND SWEET SNACKS FROM MIDDAY TO 7PM
Enjoy a drink while breathing in the fresh air at the GoodPlanet bar, open Saturdays and Sundays. All profits go towards maintaining free admission to the Domain.
Keep an eye on the calendar to make the most of special gourmet weekends: world cuisine, vegan pizzas, farmers’ markets, etc.
GROUP VISITS
The GoodPlanet Foundation provides various modules (team building, workshops, guided tours, conferences, etc.) that can be adapted to your needs in terms of both duration and participant numbers. What’s more, we can design and run bespoke sessions on the different themes of sustainable development. Enjoy an educational and fun experience at the heart of 3.5 hectares of nature as part of your seminar or team building day organised at the Domaine de Longchamp.
THE COMMITMENTS OF THE GOODPLANET FOUNDATION
The GoodPlanet Foundation is committed to constantly improving its environmental performances and has set out a charter for all of the subcontractors, service providers and suppliers at the Domaine de Longchamp with the aim of reducing the site’s environmental footprint. These initiatives concern a variety of areas such as fittings and fixtures, food, cleaning, transport of goods and persons, and waste management.
