Dr. Ian Redmond (Ambassador UN Year of the Gorilla) and Dr. Serge Wich (Chairman Scientific Comittee for GRASP/Great Apes Survival Programme, a UNEP-UNESCO joined Initiative) will discuss with the audience.

5:00pm: Afternoon discussion: REDD - Debriefing after the COP15's Forest Day

Panelists will discuss about REDD both from an institutional (state of negociations) and technical perspective (means for monitoring effectively the forest cover, implications for local communities etc.).

A special Focus will be carried out on the REDD pilot project implemented in Madagascar by GoodPlanet and WWF.

Short Documentaries will be screened in order to feed the discussion.
